Frequently Asked Questions:

Is it possible to play with just my friends or family members?

If you wish to have a private event or the entire room, you must book all the spots for that particular time slot.

How do I pay?

To pay for your order, fill out the form on the Booking tab and enter your payment information via credit or debit card. Payments will not be accepted by check, cash or over the phone.

How many games can I play at a time?

You can only play one game per hour, but you are welcome to book as many rooms as you like. You could have a Rush Escape Room marathon!

Will there be other people in the room with us?

If you book a room that is not yet full, there is a chance you will be grouped with other players. If you wish to have a private event, book each spot in the time slot. Otherwise, be prepared to meet new people and have fun!

How early should I arrive for my game?

To ensure a positive and fun gaming experience, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your time slot. This will ensure that your team has enough time to fill out the liability waivers and receive your briefing.

How long is each game?

That depends on quickly you can escape! Each game is limited to 45 minutes; that means you have only 45 minutes to escape. You’ll be reminded of the time by the countdown timer.

What is an “escape room/game?”

An “escape game” is a new, intellectually stimulating labyrinth of clues and puzzles aimed to bring out participants’ detective skills. Participants are temporarily locked in a room with the goal of finding a four-digit pin to escape. Originating in Asia, escape games are trending worldwide and have just recently been making their way across the United States. Now is your chance to experience the adventure that is captivating the globe!

Am I really going to be locked in a room?

The room is magnetically locked, but there is always a panic/exit button for anyone who feels overwhelmed or claustrophobic. Pressing the exit button will unlock the door. You can no longer “win” if a team member exits without using the pin, but however the game will still continue. The rooms will also be monitored via video cameras for participants’ safety.

Do I need an appointment to play?

Walk ins are welcome but we cannot guarantee you a time slot. All bookings are completed online via our Booking page. Once the form is completed you will receive a confirmation email. Note that you may be paired with other players if the room is not at maximum capacity.

How do I book a game?

To book a game, visit our Booking Page, select your number of participants, room and time slot, and fill in your payment information. Once the form is completed you will receive a confirmation email for your records. No bookings will be accepted over the phone.

What is your cancellation policy?

All bookings are non-refundable. Cancellations, no-shows and late arrivals will not be reimbursed. To ensure a positive and fun experience, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your time slot.

Do I need to bring anything?

There is no need to bring anything besides a parent or guardian if you’re under 14 years old. All other personal items will be in the room with you in a basket the entire game. You’ll be able to keep an eye on your belongings.

How difficult are the games?

The rooms vary in difficulty and accommodate a variety of skill levels, but not everyone escapes. Just remember the rooms are meant to be challenging and the goal is to have fun!

Will I be in danger at any point?

Our highest priority is your safety. Games are designed to be intellectual rather than strenuous and a panic button is available for anyone who feels overwhelmed or claustrophobic. The rooms are also monitored via video cameras and participants are allowed to leave the room at anytime if they feel uncomfortable or need a bathroom break. We’re not a haunted house!

How many people can play?

The rooms are limited to eight persons per room. The minimum per room is two, so bring your work team, family or a group of friends!

Is there an age limit?

We recommend Rush Escape Room for ages fourteen and up due to the intellectual difficulty of the games. Note that guests under 18 will need a parent or guardian’s signature on the liability waiver.

Can I book with my friends?

Yes! However, we recommend that one person books for the whole group. That way your spots don’t get taken by other participants while booking. If you do decide to book separately that’s okay too, but note that spots may get booked by others if the room is not fully booked.

Can you accommodate large parties or corporate events?

We host a variety of events from corporate team building, birthday parties, youth groups and more. Please contact us for rates and more information.

Are the rooms handicap accessible?

Yes, we can accommodate wheelchairs; just notify us ahead of time so we can block out the rest of the room for you. Please contact us for special assistance.

What happens if I am running late?

If you’re more than 5 minutes late, you may not be allowed to enter the room, nor will you be granted a refund. Please arrive 15 minutes early, prior to your scheduled time.

Can I take pictures or videos in the rooms?

There is absolutely no photography or video recordings inside the rooms. There are cameras in each room and if we see any photography or video taking place you will be asked to leave without a refund.

Will I be able to use my cell phone?

There is absolutely no cell phone use allowed inside of the room. If you need to take a call, or there is an emergency, you can use the panic button to step outside. A failure to abide by the rules will result in ejection without refund.

Is this a haunted house?

No, Rush Escape Room is a live escape game and is very different than a haunted house. You will enter the room with the rest of your team, and then be given a set amount of time to solve the puzzles inside with the ultimate goal of escaping. You’ll directly interact with many aspects of the environment inside, touching and opening objects. There are no lines to follow or set paths to traverse, just a space full of clues, items and puzzles.

Is this experience scary?

We wouldn’t classify this as a “scary” experience. Without giving anything away, we will say that there will be no high school kids in makeup jumping out at you. Feel free to see what others said on our Facebook page for more insight into the experience.

What is the parking situation?

There is ample parking directly in front of our business. The office park lot is shared with other tenants so please be respectful and do not disturb other businesses.

What is an Escape Room?

The escape game genre started out as a series of point-and-click computer games where players must escape from a locked area by using the environment around them. Rush Escape Room is a live version of this, where you must physically search the environment for items and clues that will help you escape. You are given limited time to try and escape before your fate is sealed!

…Only one question remains: Can you escape?
